What you'll do and what we offer

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyse the business requirements and translate them into efficient software solutions
• Design, develop, implement and maintain one of our financial accounting system using SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle APEX
• Conduct performance analysis and tuning of the processes and database
• Support and participate in building framework for automated testing
• Identify areas for improvement of current CI solution and processes and drive changes towards more automation, better quality and shorter delivery time
• Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure consistency
• Working in Agile development methodology as part of a multi-disciplined team
• Promote best coding practises

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate will have the following skills & experience:

• Experience in application development and design
• 3+ year experience with developing in SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience in developing applications in Oracle Apex or eagearness to learn it
• Good knowledge of both database and program code performance tuning, understanding execution plans, use of statistics, etc.
• Experience in Agile development lifecycle
• Sense of humour and strong interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Very good spoken and written English

Advantageous Skills:

• Experience in developing applications in Java
• Working knowledge of Docker
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies, specifically AWS
• Knowledge about financial instruments and accounting principle
