We provide the flexibility of hybrid working, a combination of being office (in central Boston) and home-based. There will also be a need for occasional travel to clients in other parts of the US and overseas.


What you'll do

The Senior Solution Consultant is the solid foundation of a sales engagement. You will  partner with sales team members on new and existing client engagements by helping to lead the functional and technical aspects of the sales process.  The Senior Solution Consultant is responsible for aligning Subscription Management product capabilities with client requirements and evangelizing the benefits of the Subscription Management product.

As an expert in the field, you will be required to leverage your knowledge and experience of Subscription Management, in order to provide and articulate commercially sound solutions that exceed stakeholder expectation. This also requires the ability to analyze and pre-empt client issues to present a robust solution and manage risk both to the sale and delivery of the end state solution.  You will further reinforce your credibility and trust with client’s representatives through your excellent communication skills and ability to articulate Aptitude’s value through stories.

There will be a requirement for you to configure and support the delivery of demonstrations aligned with client requirements. To ensure successful delivery during each client interaction, you must lead the configuration process to ensure successful delivery which meets set deadlines.

Organizationally you identify opportunities for growth or improvement and work with your leadership and wider team to enact change to both processes and products. You are expected to inspire those around you, establishing and harvesting best practices and striving towards a model of repeatability.


What we're looking for

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Media industry experience, along with a strong B2B software background
  • Demonstrated experience in solution consulting / pre-sales, either for a vendor technology company selling services or solutions to media companies.
  • The ability to understand a prospect’s objective, identify pain points and translate into actionable requirements
  • Able to lead the delivery of workshops to drive definition of scope aligned with Aptitude capabilities
  • Experience leading RFP & RFI processes through to formal presentation to senior executives
  • Ability to manage personal and team tasks and deliverables to complete projects on schedule
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, project leads and within Sales team
  • Demonstrates a broad understanding of functional and technical principles (REST APIs, Web Technologies, enterprise software and systems architecture,) and the application of those principles to achieve financial value using Aptitude products
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the competitive landscape in which the Subscription Management product fits.
