This detailed survey was completed by more than 760 senior finance members of the FSN Modern Finance Forum on LinkedIn. The responses were gathered from across the globe and from 23 different industries making it one of the largest and most authoritative studies of its kind.

This study highlights that wherever finance professionals happen to be situated in the world and no matter what industries they serve, they all share the same ambitions and hurdles. Standardization & automation must be prioritized to give CFOs the time back that they need to perform more strategic tasks.
81% of respondents will ultimately be responsible for corporate data in the future making it critical for them to learn how to manage and analyze increasing data.
Despite a desire to eliminate information silos, more than half of all CFOs say they don’t spend enough time on business partnering.
