Today Aptitude Software’s London office is celebrating Red Nose Day to raise some funds for Comic Relief. Cakes have been baked, and – officially – there is a ‘Ministry of Silly Walks‘ competition. It’s all very British.
Comic Relief is a British charity that makes international grants to enabling some of the world’s poorest people to gain access to vital services such as health and education. Comic Relief stands out for their “Golden Pound Principle” where every single donated pound (£) is spent on charitable projects.
For those not in the UK, Comic Relief is one of two high profile telethon fundraising events, the other being Children in Need, which our team celebrated in November. Comic Relief is a British charity that was founded in 1985 in response to famine in Ethopia.
