What you’ll do
As Business Development Representative (BDR) you will be responsible for generating new qualified leads and opportunities for the North America sales team. You will work collaboratively with sales and marketing to define a strategic business approach to maximize pipeline and be responsible for effectively using your strong and creative prospecting skills to connect with the right prospects (cold and warm), build relationships and identify qualified opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills & experience:
· Ability to support the sales team and secure leads in line with campaign priorities
· The ability to prospect to companies via cold calling, email, marketing campaigns, social selling to support the conversion
· Ability to research target accounts and target personas in line with Aptitude’s defined target ideal client and buyer profiles
· Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills and strong written skills in all communication
· Excellent communication skills internally, so proficient in building strong connections that are not reliant on email communications, and externally where they can clearly articulate the value of our software and services and demonstrate the ability to build relationships via cold calls, emails and appropriate interactions to influence the desired outcomes
· Goal driven, strong self-starter with the ability to work as a team player in a high-energy sales team environment
· Able to utilize industry knowledge to research & develop accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and identify compelling events
· Target driven with the ability to attain and exceed all sales goals by securing meetings with qualified leads through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn and other methods
· Can quickly build proficiency in using tools such as Salesforce, Hubspot and LinkedIn
· The ability to quickly grow knowledge of Aptitude target markets (Insurance, Banking, Technology/Software, Medical Devices, Telco, Hi-Tech Manufacturing)
