What you'll do and what we offer


The key responsibilities are:

  • Working as a part of a global and diversified team responsible for hosting Aptitude client solutions
  • Provisioning, configurating, maintaining, and supporting continuous delivery process to deploy and promote applications in Aptitude Cloud Service environments.
  • Supporting API and external tools integration, system monitoring, user access, ticket resolution and reporting.
  • As a key point of contact in Aptitude Cloud Service, you will ensure adherence to controls and security in all lifecycle phases.
  • Facilitate the provisioning of Aptitude Cloud Service environments hosting our products.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the Aptitude DevOps and Cloud Operations team to successfully execute the provisioning process.
  • Technical configuration of environments in line with product specs and client requirements
  • Define and support operational processes for day-to-day Aptitude Cloud Service offerings including: integration, monitoring, access managed, backups and ticket resolution.
  • Develop automated provisioning and configuration processes.

What we're looking for


The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes & experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of AWS experience
  • AWS Certification – Associate level or higher
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of Linux and Shell Scripting
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Delivery tools and processes
  • Experience in build and release management and/or software development
  • Ability to read, comprehend and apply Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, JavaScript and other technologies used at Aptitude Software
  • Ability to work independently and determine priorities of tasks as part of a geographically separated team
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate cross time zone collaboration and customer specific release windows
  • Educated to degree level or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
  • Good spoken and written English, ideally B2 or above
  • Willingness to Work on Shifts: Given the nature of our services, readiness to work on a rotational shift basis is essential. This will include coverage during Eastern Standard Time (EST) or Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours.
