At Aptitude, we’re on a mission to change the way the world’s leading enterprises understand and grow their businesses. Our industry-leading finance data platform, Fynapse, helps organizations streamline their operations, unlock trusted insights and accelerate growth.
We’re proud to be building a global team of passionate and ambitious people who love solving complex challenges and making an impact. We celebrate diverse perspectives and believe that our differences make us stronger, smarter and more creative.
With our headquarters in London and offices in seven locations worldwide, we’re proud to partner with clients across four continents. Wherever you join us, you’ll be part of a global community shaping the next generation of finance technology.
Aptitude Software is looking for a high-performing Enterprise Account Executive to spearhead the growth of Fynapse across the NA region. This is a “hunter” role designed for a strategic seller who thrives in complex, high-stakes environments.
You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within the Office of the CFO. Fynapse is our cutting-edge, cloud-native digital finance platform that helps global enterprises automate complex accounting and accelerate financial insights. Your mission is to establish Fynapse as the gold standard for finance transformation in the NA market.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition: Execute a strategic sales play to win opportunities within Tier 1 and Tier 2 enterprise accounts.
Pipeline Generation: While supported by marketing, you are expected to self-generate a significant portion of your pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and industry leadership.
C-Suite Engagement: Build deep, consultative relationships with CFOs, Controllers, and Heads of Finance Transformation to understand their pain points and articulate the ROI of Fynapse.
Complex Sales Management: Lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles (6–12+ months) involving Finance, IT, and Procurement.
We’ll provide you with the opportunity to grow your expertise in an environment that supports you, your life and your career.
We’ll also offer you a competitive salary and commission, as well as the following benefits:
401(k) retirement plan with matching
Competitive vacation and paid time off
Healthcare benefits – medical insurance, dental insurance and vision plans
Pre-tax saving accounts
Life and Disability Insurance
ShareSave scheme (ability to purchase company shares on preferential terms)
Flexible working conditions and hybrid work model
Whilst this role is based from our Boston office, we support hybrid working.
To us at Aptitude, hybrid working means that our employees come together for 2-days per week at their local office. It’s an opportunity for our teams to collaborate, solve problems together and to be engaged and involved in the wider community of our business.
We ask employees to come into the office every Wednesday and give you the flexibility to choose your other day from either Tuesday or Thursday.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 4+ years of experience in Enterprise SaaS sales, specifically selling financial, ERP, or EPM software.
Domain Expertise: A proven track record of selling directly to the Office of the CFO. You speak the language of finance (IFRS, revenue recognition, ledger consolidation, and financial agility).
The “Hunter” Mentality: You possess the discipline to build your own territory from scratch. You don’t wait for leads; you create them.
Technical Literacy: Ability to discuss cloud-native architecture and data integration at a high level with IT stakeholders.
Why Join Aptitude?
Market-Leading Product: Fynapse is at the forefront of the “Composable Finance” movement, solving problems that legacy ERPs cannot.
Collaborative Culture: Work alongside world-class pre-sales engineers and subject matter experts who ensure you have the technical backing to win.
