dmg media, the organization responsible for popular UK newspapers like The Daily Mail and The Mail on Sunday, was looking to launch Mail Plus, an interactive tablet version alongside their print offering.
To do this, they needed a vendor who could quickly support a direct subscription website with the ability to monetize content, promote and tailor offers, support payments and provide detailed revenue analytics.
dmg selected Aptitude’s Subscription Management solution, eSuite to manage users and monetization alongside Adobe’s Digital Publishing Suite (DPS) to create the digital newsletter.
eSuite provides dmg with the ability to create both a pay-as-you-go (single edition) and subscription-based product that can be sold through all App stores. Aptitude’s PCI-compliant data center also manages a broad variety of payment methods. User data from iTunes and the website improved offers, boosting average revenue per user.
