What you'll do

As a Client Success Manager, you will be responsible for creating long-term, trusting and strategic relationships with your clients to ensure 100% client retention and incremental software revenue across your assigned client portfolio. You will own a portfolio of assigned clients and maintain mutual long term commercially fruitful relationships with key business executives and stakeholders in these accounts.

With a strong background in client success and/or strategic account management, you will be responsible for developing actionable, outcome focused and logical client success management plans to maximize opportunities within your clients through repeatable upselling and cross selling techniques aligned with the clients’ requirements. These will need to be effectively implemented across your clients to unveil and drive value and client satisfaction. Your plans will be focused on client retention and satisfaction, referrals, reputation, risk mitigation and commercial client account expansion.

As Client Success Manager, you will also act as the client advocate and will work effectively with cross-functional internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance Advisory, Professional Services) to ensure understanding of the clients’ needs and respond with the appropriate quality of service. Connecting the business and ensuring a feedback loop with our long-term clients is paramount.

Ultimately, you will be responsible for owning, leading and taking responsibility for agreed commercial activity across your accounts, and accountable for your allocated accounts’ client successes and ideal outcomes.

What we're looking for

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • A self-starter able to work independently and who will find their way in the organization and get colleagues aligned to help them
  • Demonstrate exceptional effective listening, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Works well under pressure and commits to deadlines
  • Excellent people skills and intuitive to clients’ business needs
  • A dogmatic commitment to exceptional client outcomes
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, including executive and C-level
  • A successful track record in client/customer success or B2B account management, and/or business development. Brings a consultative sales approach, ideally gained in an established customized software business or professional services organization providing complex enterprise software to organizations.
  • Ideally with experience facing into CFOs / office of finance or an understanding of Finance and IT (e.g. architecture, problems, accounting regulation, best practice).
  • Proven ability providing a high level of service to assigned client accounts, with experience in developing new business opportunities with existing clients by promoting company products and services, ensuring a focus on outcomes to create value and drive profit
  • Excellent client relationship management skills and experience; invests in relationships to become a credible, energetic and a trusted advisor at senior level, including c-suite.
  • Deep understanding of account plan development
  • Ability to juggle multiple client accounts at a time, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail with a right first-time mindset
