What you'll do and what we offer
The Product Manager – Portfolio Products plays a crucial role in the strategic and day-to-day management of a collection of mature products and product modules, working with several engineering teams and stakeholder groups to establish, prioritise and deliver product and technical improvements via several product backlogs.
The products and modules under portfolio management include finance accounting engines and technical operations modules (for example, Scheduling and Identity Access Management modules). As such the role would be well suited to a technically minded individual who is curious about the needs of finance organisations.
At a mature phase in their product lifecycle, the products require a focus on:
Product profitability and cost optimisation.
Security maintenance, technical debt reduction, and key usability enhancements that underpin client retention.
The key outcomes from these activities will be ensuring client retention and improved product profitability.
The role may require international travel on occasion.

What we're looking for
The successful candidate will apply product, commercial, and market expertise to influence the direction of Aptitude’s product portfolio in line with business and product strategy.
They will be adept at establishing, evaluating, and prioritising portfolio-wide market needs that drive the delivery of mature products under portfolio management.
They will feel comfortable getting hands-on and into the detail with their products, to present complex concepts to internal and external stakeholders from user level to C-level.
They will have a keen appreciation for the mechanics of estimation and forecasting for in-budget and on-time delivery, working in conjunction with counterparts from engineering.
They will have exceptional time management, working with several teams and product backlogs in parallel.
They will have excellent written and spoken English language skills.
