What you’ll do

The key responsibilities are:

  • Ensuring that the cloud service meets client and business requirements.
  • Implementing repeatable and sustainable processes that drive client satisfaction and cost efficiency.
  • Working with clients as an escalation point to resolve issues. Participating in client interactions to ensure client satisfaction and regular management involvement.
  • Adherence to service SLAs and monitoring effectiveness and efficiency of services.
  • Managing 3rd party licensing for client instances and ensure we remain compliant.
  • Managing pen testing.
  • Ownership of various artefact, including Cloud Service Architecture presentations, Cost Models and Sizing templates, knowledge base, RFPIO library and other internal/external key cloud artefacts.
  • Collecting, compiling, and reporting on Cloud Service performance benchmarks/statistics, storage usage, and other Cloud Service consumption metrics.
  • Being a point of contact for Sales, Presales, Professional Service, and other Aptitude teams for matters relating to the service.
  • Supporting the bi-annual SOC certification/audit.
  • Organizing and communicating regular planned maintenance cycles.
  • KPI measurements for SaaS application adoption, usage and sentiment, and delivering reporting to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Analysing performance and identifing opportunities to improve.
  • Identifing current and future needs, then prepare the systems, procedures, processes and communication to meet those needs.
  • Monitoring, identifing and resolving critical and non-critical alerts as well as tickets raised by First Line Support team.
  • Working closely with Sales leadership to ensure successful sizing and scoping of SaaS services.

What we’re looking for

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes & experience:

  • Broad experience in a software/product organization in an international setting.
  • Able to negotiate and manage conflicting priorities and requirements across multiple parties.
  • Able to effectively define and use metrics and KPIs to deliver process improvements and increase efficiency.
  • Ability to co-ordinate and influence across multiple dynamic multi-disciplined teams.
  • Ability to implement new processes and methodologies within a SaaS organisation.
  • Experience within a SaaS operational role with proven hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or similar Cloud computing platforms.
  • Understanding of compute, storage, and cloud technologies and emerging trends in cloud computing and storage.
  • Understand how Agile and related methodologies work to deliver change.
  • Can apply commercial awareness to all aspects of the role.
  • Understands and evidences the key controls that form part of the company’s SOC process. Responsible for ensuring compliance.
  • Able to design, develop, implement and operate controls including policies and procedures for Aptitude Software’s Cloud Services system.
  • Can communicate effectively with respect, integrity, empathy, and consciousness.
  • Excellent spoken and written English, ideally to C1 level.
